What it Does

With WebDocs you can easily scan and electronically route invoices through your AP process. Invoice data such as vendor ID numbers, date, line-item descriptions and charges are easily captured and validated based on your business rules.

Invoice data is automatically transferred to your financial database or ERP system and image files are electronically stored for easy web-based access. You can choose from a hosted cloud version of the software or a server-based model.

How it Works

  • Filing a document
    Getting documents into WebDocs is easy. You can scan paper documents or import emails, existing electronic files and other digital content generated from your ERP system or any business application. Documents are indexed by optical character recognition (OCR), bar coding, screen scraping or direct data entry. The system works with all standard scanners, including TWAIN, ISIS and Kofax compliant products.
  • Finding a document
    WebDocs gives you multiple ways of quickly finding what you need. Our customizable web interface allows for up to 10 search keys for each document. You can search by document type, date, title and more. Plus, WebDocs can integrate into existing applications so that searching is as easy as clicking a “hot button” or function key.
  • Managing a document
    You can review and modify documents online, and email, print or fax them as needed. Documents can be routed through basic workflows or complex AP and other business processes that require multiple approvals and matching. WebDocs also has security features that control access to documents based on authority settings you control. Every time a document is changed, a new version is created and logged, making sure information never gets lost or overwritten.
