RJS Software Releases New Enterprise Report Delivery Product

Reno, NV – RJS Software Systems (www.rjssoftware.com), a premier provider of content management software and services, announced the release of DeliverNow™, a new cross-platform report automation product that streamlines the way customers, vendors and employees receive information.
DeliverNow automatically monitors, converts and delivers reports from key business systems on any platform, including IBM i, Windows, Linux and AIX. Reports can be burst and converted into PDF, RTF, HTML, Microsoft Excel and many other file formats, and emailed, faxed or sent to any output directory, output queue or FTP site.
“This is a game-changer for us,” said RJS President and CTO Richard Schoen at the 2009 Annual COMMON Conference in Reno. “By extending DeliverNow to all platforms, we can accommodate companies running ERP systems such as JD Edwards World or One World, which run on multiple platforms, and provide them with the kind of automated enterprise-wide report delivery that makes their business function much more efficiently.”
Not only does the new software extend reporting capabilities to multiple platforms, but it consolidates in one product all of the features a business would need for enterprise report delivery. Schoen pointed out how many companies are limited by tools such as Crystal Reports which can generate PDF documents, but don’t have the ability to automate report conversion and then email or archive those same documents to a document repository like RJS Software’s WebDocs system. DeliverNow solves that dilemma.
DeliverNow, which has been in development since 2007, includes the functionality of RJS Software’s existing line of WinSpool products for delivering IBM i reports. The major enhancement is the added ability to deliver reports from other platforms, plus a sleek new Web console that makes using the software easy.
Existing RJS customers should “fear not,” according to Jerry Olson, RJS Software’s VP of Sales and Marketing. An easy upgrade path has been developed and the company will continue support for the individual products that have been rolled into DeliverNow.
