RJS Selected by Google to Sell Search Appliance

Burnsville, MN – RJS Software Systems, Inc. (www.rjssoftware.com), a premier provider of enterprise content management software and services, today announced a partnership with Google, Inc. to offer Google’s innovative line of search appliance products to SME and Enterprise level customers.
The agreement allows RJS to integrate the Google Mini and Google Search Appliance (GSA) technologies into RJS’s award-winning WebDocs™ software. This technology combination provides the marketplace with a unique content management solution that offers advanced search engine technology with secure document capture, storage and routing capabilities.

Google had been selling its search appliance products directly, but recently decided to actively market them through channel partners. RJS was chosen by Google as one of a select group of channel partners for this unique new marketing and sales program. The appliances sit behind an organization’s firewall and use Google’s leading Internet search engine technology to give users universal search access across the company’s computers, databases and networks.
RJS has been testing the Google Search Appliance on its own Support Wiki for months while considering how to best leverage the product with its own solutions. In addition to the WebDocs integration, RJS will consult with customers on how to install and integrate the Google search engine technology into their internal custom applications environments.
