Automatically distribute System i reports via email
Monitor your System i output queues and deliver reports via email as they’re generated. No report downloading is required. Reports are sent directly from your System i via SMTP. No special mail server configuration is required. With the Email Report Server, you can easily distribute reports to field salespeople, remote offices, vendors and customers.
Monitor output queues and automatically email reports
- Native AS/400 application.
- Doesn’t require the AS/400 SMTP email server to be running.
- Supports SMTP compliant email systems such as AS/400, MS Exchange, Lotus Notes/Domino, Novell GroupWise or any other SMTP compliant mail server.
- Any AS/400 report queue can become a report mailbox.
- AS/400 report queues can have one or more email recipients attached to it.
- Email Addresses can be embedded directly into AS/400 reports.
- Assign email addresses by scanning for selected report criteria.
- Assign email addresses by using user defined data in spool file.
- Assign email addresses by using spool file attributes such as Spool File Name, User ID, User Data, Form, Type, or Job Name.
- AS/400 reports are sent as email file attachments.
- AS/400 reports can be manually mailed using interactive output queue interface.
- AS/400 reports can be mailed from AS/400 user applications via the MAILSPLF API command.
- Reports can be automatically converted to ASCII text, RTF, PDF, HTML or Host Print Transform formats such as PCL or TIFF before emailing.
